Terms and Conditions

1. When do these Terms & Conditions apply?

Terms & Conditions apply to all members participating in the KANSHA rewards program. By registering as a member of this program you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which apply to any KANSHA rewards points you earn.

2. How does the KANSHA program work?

You can claim and earn KANSHA rewards points for sales of eligible Fuji Xerox Printers. You may then redeem your Kansha rewards points for rewards you choose from the website.

You can claim your KANSHA rewards points by completing the claim form and attaching or faxing proof of the transaction. All claims are scrutinised by Fuji Xerox. From time to time, bonus points can be earned by selling consumables with printer(s) -- such bonus points are listed separately on the drop-down product list. However such claims for bonus points will be accepted only if the sales were made in one transaction and if the consumables are genuine Fuji Xerox supplies -- as evidenced on the invoice.

3. How long do I have to use my KANSHA rewards points?

The KANSHA rewards points program will be reset every 6 months.If there are unspent points in your account at 28th February and 31st August, forced redemption will be applied, and any remaining points will expire.

4. What are the rewards?

Rewards may include:

· Gift cards or vouchers (which can be exchanged for goods or services)
· Tickets to sporting and entertainment events
· Merchandise

The rewards available at any time are shown on the web site www.kansharewards.com.au 

All rewards are subject to availability, and you will be contacted if substitutions may be necessary. All rewards are subject to the specific conditions on which the provider of the reward makes the reward available. If there is any inconsistency between them and these terms and conditions, the specific conditions prevail.

Gift cards and reward vouchers may have an expiry date – usually 12 months ahead – and cannot be used after that date. If you do not use a gift card or voucher before its expiry date, your KANSHA rewards points will not be re-credited. You cannot redeem reward vouchers for cash, cheques, money orders or other payment instruments.

5. How do I keep track of my KANSHA rewards points and reward entitlements?

Please visit www.kansharewards.com.au, log in your KANSHA member ID and password correctly, then click on 'Your Account'. You will see a statement showing your present KANSHA rewards points balance, and transactions – KANSHA rewards points that have been credited and any points you have redeemed previously. Note there are lags between the time you achieve the targets that entitle you to KANSHA rewards points and their being credited to your points record while your claims for points are being verified. It may take up to 4 weeks after we receive all the information required.

KANSHA rewards points can be used to claim rewards as soon as they appear on 'Your Account'. If you have any questions in relation to your rewards points balance, you should email us customerservice@kansharewards.com.au. We will investigate all queries and make the final decision if there is any dispute. We may adjust your points balance (backdating the adjustment if necessary) if points have been incorrectly credited or debited for any reason.

6. How do I claim a reward?

You can claim a reward by visiting www.kansharewards.com.au, logging in your member ID and password correctly, then choosing your reward and following the directions. 

Only you may redeem your KANSHA rewards points and claim a reward. If you do not have enough points at the time of submitting a redemption request, you can redeem products and vouchers using both points and $. During the redemption process, you will be asked to select your method of redemption and to use your credit card if you use our flexible points + pay system.

7. What about delivery?

90% of rewards are dispatched within a few days. However some merchandise rewards may take a little longer. We prefer to say that merchandise will be delivered within 28 days, and then deliver it much sooner. If there is a delay in delivery, you will be notified and provided with the option to change your reward. Rewards will be delivered to the street address you nominate – the address cannot be a PO Box.

8. Returns and Exchanges

It’s important that you inspect all rewards upon receipt and identify any concerns. If unfortunately you’ve received a faulty product, it can be returned with its packaging, documentation, and accessories. To expedite the return, please e-mail us at customerservice@kansharewards.com.au. We’re not able to exchange products except when faulty.

9. How do we communicate with each other?

Communications will mostly be via email and the website www.Kansharewards.com.au or by phoning 1300 308 951 (Australia)  or  0800 440 879 (New Zealand).

10.KANSHA points have no monetary value

KANSHA rewards points are not property, and do not have any monetary value except in respect of the value assigned to them by Fuji Xerox Printers in this program. KANSHA rewards points or rewards entitlements may not be transferred, sold or bequeathed. KANSHA rewards points may be redeemed for rewards only, and are not convertible into cash. KANSHA rewards points are used solely to record your entitlement to claim a reward.

11. General

To remain eligible for the KANSHA rewards points program your employing company must remain a Channel 1st Partner. If your employer ceases to be a Channel 1st Partner then you will no longer be able to earn points in the program, and you will be advised the date by which you should redeem your points, after which your points will be forfeited. Once the sale of an eligible printer is made, you have 3 months from the sale date on the invoice to lodge your claim on the KANSHA claims website. Claims lodged after this 3 months time limit will not be accepted.

By participating in KANSHA rewards program you understand and agree that Fuji Xerox Printers may use and disclose the information provided by you on the terms and for the purposes (including marketing) set out in Fuji Xerox Printers Privacy policy. Email will be used from time to time to communicate with you and provide updates and information relating to the KANSHA rewards program and general Fuji Xerox Printers marketing information. By participating in the KANSHA rewards program, you consent to receiving updates and information relating to KANSHA and general Fuji Xerox Printers marketing information from Fuji Xerox Printers.

The promoter’s decision is final.

12. Disclaimer: the fine print

The KANSHA rewards program allows you to access many products and services from third-party providers. The manufacturer or supplier provides warranty, service and support of these products directly to you. Fuji Xerox Printers makes no representations or warranties regarding these products and will not be responsible for any provider who breaches its contract or refuses to accept gift cards or vouchers. Fuji Xerox Printers will not be responsible for any acts of god or any other events beyond its control.

Except for express or implied terms and conditions imposed by the Trade Practices Act, Fuji Xerox Printers makes no express or implied warranty or representation in connection with the rewards (including with respect to type, quality, standard or fitness for any purpose), and is not liable for any loss you suffer (including consequential loss) arising in connection with a reward. We assert we are not liable for any loss you suffer (including consequential loss) in connection with our negligence or our breaching a term, warranty or condition in relation to the KANSHA rewards program. If however we are liable for a breach of these terms and conditions, then our liability will exclude any indirect or consequential loss you may suffer.

Our liability is limited to:

· Where the reward constitutes goods: replacement or repair of the goods or payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the goods; or
· Where the reward constitutes a service, supplying the service again or payment of the cost of having the service supplied again.

If a reward is covered by a manufacturer's warranty and requires service, you should contact the manufacturer named in the warranty information.

Fuji Xerox Printers KANSHA Rewards points program includes an FBT component arising on the value of the third party benefits provided. Fuji Xerox Co Ltd has consulted extensively with the tax department and unfortunately has been advised that we are unable to pay the FBT on your behalf or as a lump sum for all recipients of the program. By registering with the KANSHA rewards program you are agreeing to be responsible for any FBT liability payable as a result of this program.

Our failure to enforce a term of these terms and conditions does not mean we waive that term.

13. Changes to these terms and conditions

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. You agree that you are bound by any change. Changes may include a change to:

· The available rewards
· The way you can earn KANSHA rewards points
· The way you can redeem KANSHA rewards points
· The number of KANSHA rewards points required to obtain a reward

Any of these changes may be made even if they affect KANSHA rewards points you have already received.

14. Termination

We may terminate KANSHA rewards points at any time.

We will notify you as soon as practicable of any termination and the remaining period in which you may use your KANSHA rewards points to claim rewards.
